CUFE-9 | Layflat Control for Blown Film
The CUFE-9 is a standalone system to control the layflat size on blown film lines.
The width of the film is registered by a width measuring bar, for example the FE-9 Width Measuring Bar, which is connected to the CUFE-9.
Actual width, target width and trends are shown on a compact, capacitive touchscreen panel. In addition to that, the CUFE-9 offers a wide range of digital and analog inputs and outputs, which can easily be configured individually.
The control system is modular, it can be used on lines with or without IBC. For lines witout IBC, we offer different control components, such as the Tubair or Blowair.
The CUFE-9 can be integrated into the Profilstar.Net, to show both thickness gauge and width data on the same screen.

Tubair | Layflat Control
The Tubair is an optional unit to control the bubble size. It inflates or deflates air into the bubble, depending on the actual size. The Tubair is directly connected to the FE-8 control panel and to the existing air pressure grid.
It can be used on lines with stationary or oscillating die.
Application: The Tubair controls the bubble size on lines with stationary or oscillating die.
Blowair | Layflat Control

The Blowair is an optional unit to the FE-8 to control the size of the bubble. A built-in compressor generates the air pressure, which is inflated or deflated, depending on the actual size. The Blowair is wirelessly connected to the FE-8 control panel.
This device is used on blown film lines with continuously rotating dies.
Application: The Blowair is designed to control the bubble size on lines with continuously rotating die.
